Halloween Flower Arrangements

Is Halloween flower arrangements or Halloween bouquet something new to you? If not, you probably work in a flower shop or are simply savvy like me! :) Otherwise, you're not alone, as you will see later even my mom was surprised that such things actually existed.

So, what do you typically do on special occasions? I mean, what do you do for the ones you love? Do you bake them a festive cake or pie and send it in the mail? While that may not sound like a terrible idea, there is nothing really ingenious or artistic about it.

Maybe you send them a card in the mail? Hmmm... sorry, no offense, but to me cards are old fashioned and boring.

Try to be more imaginative and crafty and send them a nice arrangement of holiday flowers or a cool gift basket for their special day. Guaranteed, your friend or loved one will be pleasantly surprised. We all love receiving this sort of thing, don't we? Isn't it exciting to see a flower bouquet on your front step or office desk?

Ok, let's talk about Halloween flowers. You don't want to forget those special occasions that actually deserve more attention like Halloween. Who on earth doesn't like a spooky fun day such as Halloween? Come on, even the dead celebrate it by coming out. Ha ha, lighten up! This is exactly why a Halloween flower arrangement would be a perfect and ghoulishly delightful gift. Get on the web (yes, pun intended) and look at some Halloween bouquet assortments.

I'll be the first to admit that Halloween is my favorite holiday. I just love all the tricks, treats, spooks, costumes, and masks. My daughter and I have an utter blast every single year. We enjoy dressing up in our favorite scary costumes and and masks, hitting up all the nearby neighbors for candy. There are always a few kids wearing Halloween flower costumes like those huge orange flowers. I prefer to wear something scary to get in the spirit of the holiday, but to each their own.

Unfortunately since certain family members can't share in the fun with us, I like to send them a little something. Last year I sent my mother a spooky Halloween flower arrangement with candies. Well ok, maybe it wasn't all that spooky, but it was cool nonetheless. She was actually quite impressed and called me the next day to tell me how much she loved it. However, I think she was a tad surprised that Halloween flower baskets existed. She assumed that flowers were more of a Mother's Day or Valentine's Day expression. This couldn't be farther from the truth. This day and age you can send flower bouquets to whomever you please on virtually any occasion. That's the wonderful thing about contemporary florists.

So, how about sending some Halloween bouquet or gift baskets to your friends and family this Halloween? You can fix a nice little basket of scary goodies on that spooky holiday for those you care about. This is the next best thing to actually seeing them. If they don't celebrate Halloween, you can replace the ghost, goblins and witches with autumn related items. Halloween wreaths and Halloween plants are also gaining popularity. Visit your local florist to get some ideas, and use your imagination and be creative.

The other day while visiting my favorite florist I saw something really cool. It was a Halloween pumpkin flower bouquet. Basically it was a carved Jack O'Lantern (or is it Jack-O-Lantern? - forgive my ignorance :p) filled with beautiful colorful autumn leafs and flowers. I was like, wow! But instead of buying one I'll make it a fun project with my daughter to create our own Halloween flower pumpkin bouquet and give my mom another pleasant surprise this year!

If you need some great ideas for Halloween flowers, Halloween wreaths or fall gift baskets, visit your local flower shop and see what they have. Or like I said earlier, just get on the web and check out all the wonderful Halloween bouquet selections. You can order them online and have them delivered right from your computer. It's all very simple and convenient.

Have a delightfully spooky Halloween!
