Cordless telephone headset is certainly gaining popularity
these days because of its convenience and other advantages. This is a new
and innovative cell phone accessory that you almost can't live without.
It's unbelievable how things were so different even a decade ago. I can
still remember quite well how most people had pagers back when I was
starting middle
school in the mid-nineties, but how many really had cellular phones?
Are you the proud owner of a cellular telephone? Ha,
that's pretty much like asking someone if they own a microwave. Today even kids
have their own cell phones.But what about the handy new
cordless telephone headset? Why isn't everyone walking around with one of
these babies on? I mean, how convenient can you get?
Let me tell you a funny story when I first saw one a few years back while
working in a video store. Bare in mind, this was the first time I ever
encountered a cordless telephone headset.
So there was this guy (a customer) browsing through the horror
section and it seemed like he was talking to himself. I kept watching him
as he continued walking around, even gesturing his hands as he spoke. He
actually had a cordless telephone headset, but it was concealed on the
opposite side of his head so I didn't see it. Naturally I thought he was a freakin' wacko! I was beginning to wonder if I should call the police or
something.
No offense, but I have this fear of people who are mentally unstable. With
all the random shootings that have occurred in our society I think you can
understand where I'm coming from. We just can't be too careful. Anyways,
it wasn't until he walked by the counter that I noticed his cordless
telephone headset. I was relieved and tried hard not to laugh but I still
giggled. Then he looked at me and smiled while carrying on with his phone
conversation. He was a good looking dude. Too bad he didn't rent or buy
anything from the store, so I didn't get a chance to talk to him and ask
him about his cordless telephone headset :)
However, once he had left the store, I really started thinking about how
convenient the cordless telephone headset was. You don't have to haul around your cell phone
and hold it
up to your ear. Finally you have the option to simply wear a cordless
telephone headset and chat it up all you want. I can talk with my friends
while I'm cleaning the house, cooking, or out shopping. Yeah, I'm
one of those cell phone junkies who never seem to be able to put down
their phones, he he!
Now, this is the big kicker. How much safer do you think this has got to
be for drivers?
As you know, many accidents are caused by people talking on the
phone while driving. It's bad enough that they get distracted by having a
conversation, but it's even worse when they also have to hold their mobile
phone while cruising down the highway making turns and changing lanes.
With a helpful cordless telephone headset, you wouldn't have to be
burdened by that hand-held telephone.
So guess what! I decided to buy myself a cordless telephone headset. Yay!
:) This is one of the best gadgets I've bought, and it nicely complements
my Razor cell phone which has a cool and compact style. Now I can chat
with my friends all day. It drives my dad nuts though, 'cos whenever he
sees me I'm always wearing my cordless telephone headset, gossiping :) He
says I still act like a teenager although I'm in my early 20's and have a
daughter of my own. He often scolds me saying I can talk on the phone even
when I'm asleep, lol!
If you haven't
invested in a cordless telephone headset yet, I highly recommend you do.
Not so that you can be a cell phone junky like me, but because it's
convenient, cool, and it helps you drive safer.
The internet is actually the best place to look for one. There are many
deals to choose from. I purchased mine on eBay for a really good price.
