Magical Christmas Yard Decoration Scenes
and Outdoor Christmas Lights
Christmas yard decorations are something we normally just see in
front of other people's houses. My
little daughter and I like reindeer, Santa Claus and all his little elves.
We love colorful outdoor Christmas lights and nativity scenes, but I plain and simply have
never the time to do all this stuff myself. In addition, I can't imagine how much
time and money folks put into Christmas yard decoration. However, this year is gonna be different. You see, I really haven't been contributing to the
aesthetics of the neighborhood; at least the ones that pertain to the
Christmas holiday anyway.
When it comes to Halloween I raise the bar since it's our favorite
holiday. But my daughter and I love Christmas too, so I'm gonna raise the
bar for my neighborhood this year. I already have a few Christmas yard
decoration ideas. In my other article I told you I was planning to have
a huge inflatable outdoor Christmas
decoration that will really knock my little girl's socks off.
Well, she actually never wears socks. Just like me, she hates them, but
you know what I mean, he he! It's going to be another surprise for her
besides the pink Christmas tree.
Anyway, the guy across the street loves to have the brightest and best
animated Christmas yard decorations every holiday season. My daughter is
always fascinated by his beautiful lawn decorations. But like I said, this year
is my year. My yard is gonna resemble the freakin' North Pole headquarters
of Santa himself. How's that for Christmas spirit? Heck, I might even piss
off my neighbor but who cares! Oops, can I say that? I guess so, 'cos I
hear it on TV all the time. If not, someone will edit it out and I'll get chewed out :)
So, do you like to cruise the neighborhoods around Christmas time and
check out the many homes with Christmas yard decoration scenes and
outdoor Christmas lights
galore? I'm sure you do. That's what the lawn decorations are for - to be
viewed and
enjoyed. Hey, we all love to do this. I'm lucky to live in the South where
it's warm most of the time. Sometimes the temperature gets to the 60's and
70's even in December.
When it's nice and warm like that, my little girl and I would take a walk around
the neighborhood in the evening in our bare feet (yeah, I know some of you
think it's gross but we think it's cool and makes us feel one with Mother
Earth), and just marvel at the wonderful lighted Christmas yard decorations
in other people's lawns. Like that one night on the way to our friend's house to
watch Disney movies on their HDTV Projection.
It's very enticing, peaceful, and kinda magical in some sense.
Staring in awe at all those outdoor Christmas lights and all that Yuletide spirit makes us
feel good inside. What can I say, we're suckers for the holidays and
Christmas yard decorations.
 Talking about Christmas yard decorations, have you ever seen that movie
with that one guy and he does that thing that's really cool? Okay, I just
had to say that because I've heard it so many times before :) I'm sure
you've heard the spiel yourself. Anyway, you've probably also seen the
Christmas flick with the Griswalds. Yeah, that's right; you know the one
I'm talking about. It's "The National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
We love that classic! It's all about the joys, struggles, and
annoyances of the holidays. Oh, and then there's that amazing Christmas
yard decoration scene. I mean this fellow goes all out. He's determined to
have the best and most amazing decoration scheme on the block. Does this
hit close to home?
Some of you may not like to compete, and that's fine. I on the other
hand, have always liked to be number one in things that matter to me ever
since I was a kid. Don't ask me to explain why. It would take another
couple of pages, ha ha! So that's why I intend to have the best decorated
house in the sub-division this holiday season. I'm going to the local home
improvement and department stores to pick up all those amazing outdoor
Christmas lights and
illuminating reindeer. I will also search online for some of the most
magnificent Christmas yard decorations at bargain prices. I just love
shopping online!

some pictures, which is the next best thing, now that I have a new
