My Canon Powershot a70 Digital Camera

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

Do you have a digital camera? If not, you’re certainly behind the times :) Today digital cameras are just about as popular as cell phones. Even kids have them! Cannon Powershot a70 happens to be my favorite. I purchased it a while ago and I have taken many wonderful pictures with it, and I still love it!

I never leave home without my Canon Powershot a70 digital camera, especially when my daughter and I go out to have fun. We both love nature and the outdoors; the park and the woods near our house are our favorite places to stroll barefoot.

I know some of you think it’s gross. Well, it’s not! Ok maybe it is kinda, but who gives a ….(oops, censored!), it’s fun! :p There’s nothing like having the soles of your feet touch the earth while your hands caressed by wild flowers. It’s wonderful to be one with mother earth. Why don’t you try it some time and take a picture of yourself with a digital camera :)

Fun Winter Camping For The Family

Friday, January 12th, 2007

I’m sure many of you like camping. It’s really fun to be outdoors experiencing the wonders of nature. But what about winter camping? Some of you, especially if you don’t like the cold weather will not be interested. However, don’t completely discount the idea just yet. There are some advantageous winter camping has over camping in warm weather.

For sure you won’t have to worry about the heat and humidity, not to mention sweating :) In winter the air is cool and crisp, and fresher than in the summer. You will feel more invigorated to be outdoors. Another thing is, there won’t be any bugs around to bug you :) They’re either dead or hibernating. No mosquitoes or ticks to chew you alive, and no flies and ants to share your food with.

With the proper supplies and camping gear like a good sleeping bag, you will hardly notice how cold it is, and winter camping can be a lot of fun. So, why not give it a try? You may even get hooked and want to do it again and again.

My Stuffed Cat Story

Monday, January 8th, 2007

A stuffed cat may not mean much to some people. They see it as just another stuffed animal toy for a kid. However, my stuffed cat is really special. It has been my best companion for most of my life, and we have been through thick and thin together. You see, I have always loved cats ever since I can remember. To me they are the most adorable animals. I still remember how I used to feed stray cats and keep them when I was little, even to my parents’ dismay.

However, as I grew up, circumstances didn’t always allow me to have a real cat as a pet. Hence, a was the best substitute. In some ways, a stuffed animal cat is even better than a live one because it stays clean, doesn’t damage the furniture, and nobody (especially my sister) is allergic to it :)
